activist, and former (1988-95) city councilmember in Lingen (Emsland)
- Prior to 1986 he was a high school (German Gynmasium) teacher, but didn't get a position
- From 2002 to 2018 he raised three children as a single father
- He retired in 2019
- In 2004 he commented some quotations from a 1970 Kursbuch article by
Herbert, which he related to the then current (post-9/11/2001) "Patriot Act"
